Question

Two resistances R1=(100±3) lamuda R2=(150±2)lamuda,are connected in series. What is their equivalent resistance?

\huge{\underline{\underline {\mathtt{\purple{A}\pink{N}\green{S}\blue{W}\red{E}\orange{R}}}}}

\Large\fbox\red{R = (250 ± 5)Ω}

Solution

R1 = 100 ± 3Ω

R2 = 150 ± 2Ω

To find : Equivalent resistance

Let equivalent resistance be R, = ?

R = R1 + R2

= (100 ± 3) + (150 ± 2)

= (100 + 150) (3 + 2)

= (3 + 2) + (250)

R = (250 ± 5)Ω

Hope it helps uh!!
