Answer:

let the two resisance be x and 4x.

let the two resisance be x and 4x.1) 1/x + 1/4x = 1/20

let the two resisance be x and 4x.1) 1/x + 1/4x = 1/205/4x = 1/20

let the two resisance be x and 4x.1) 1/x + 1/4x = 1/205/4x = 1/204x = 100

x = 25

therefre the 1st resistance is 25 ohm and the second one is 100 ohm.

Answer:

25 and 100

Explanation:

taking the resistors as x and 4x,

in parallel the R will be 4x/5

so, 4x/5 = 20

x= 20 X 5/4 = 25

so, resistance of first resistor= 25 ohm

second resistor = 4 X 25 = 100 ohm
