Where r1, r2 are the resistors which are connected in parallel,

So according to above formula

We have,

Req=30*60/90 = 20.

Answer:

 \frac{1}{30}  +  \frac{1}{60}

 \frac{2 + 1}{60}

 \frac{3}{60}

 \frac{1}{20}

which is equal to

 \frac{1}{r}

so r=20

hence effective resistance =20
