When resistors r connected in series...1/R= 1/R1 + 1/R2
When resisitors 2 and 10 ohms r connected in parallel..the same is applied.
1/2+ 1/10= 6/10
6/10= 1/R
R= 10/6
If 8sets r connected in series like this, we have to add this "R" 8 times
8× 10/6
= 3 ohms is the answer
Hope it hps

Correction- in the first line I was bout to type "parallel" instead of "series"
