Two resistors with resistance of 10 ohm and 15 ohm are connected in parallel to a battery of 12 volt find the current drawn from the battery

R = 10 ohm
R'= 15 ohm

R and R' are connected parallely.
So the equivalent resistance R" = [1/{(1/10)+(1/15)}] ohm
= 6 ohm

and potential difference of the battery, V = 12 v
Let the current that flows throw the wire be I A

We know that
V = IR"
=> 12 = I×6
=> I = 2 A

So the current that flows throw the circuit is 2ampere .
