Given data :
They have equal volume.
Height ratio = 4:9
Let the variable = h
So,their heights are = 4h and 9h
Let,the ratio = r and R
Now,
πr²4h = πR²9h
4r² = 9R²
r²/R² = 9/4
r/R = 3/2
r:R = 3:2
So,
The ratio of their curved surface area = 2πr4h : 2πR9h
= 4r/9R
= (4×3)/(9×2)
= 12/18
= 4/6
= 2/3
= 2:3 (answer)
