the pit A in which there was kitchen waste after a month it could have dissolved completely in the soil as that type of waste is ideal for redworms but the pit B in which there was plastic waste it would not have a horrible smell but would not be dissolved as it is not ideal for redworms and plastic takes more than 1000 years to dissolve so it would be nothing for it.
