two sets of maths and science books containing 1680 1056 books respectively in a library have to be stacked in such a way that all the books are stored subject wise and height of teacher stock is the same assuming that the books are of same thickness determine the total number of steps

i think the answer is 48.
there would be 48 books in each stack...
this is the HCF of 1680 and 1056....
