First sheet,

a=l×b
a=14×4.5
a=63sq.m

Second sheet,

a =s × s
a = 12.5 × 12.5
a = 156.25sq.m

Therefore the second sheet has 93.25 sq.m of larger area than the first sheet .

Hope this helps u.........if it helps u mark me as brainliest.

Hey there!

Its Sheena here!

what is area?

=> Area is said to  the space occupied by a closed figure

=> Area is written in squares or counted by squares.

So brief explanation of the question:

There are two sheets of plywood.

One is a rectangular shaped one (as it has length and breadth)

Another one is a square shaped  as (as only side is mentioned.)

So as we know the properties of a square and a rectangle>>>

Square => All sides are equal and all angles are 90 degree

square => opposite sides are equal and all angles are 90 degree.

So I hope you know to  find area of polygons there is a special formula for such shapes.

To find the area of square things or of a square : Side*Side

To find area of rectangular things or of a rectangular thing or of a rectangle: length*breadth

So area of square plywood: Side*Side
= 12.5*12.5
=156.25m^2

So are of rectangular plywod will be:

Length*Breadth
= 14*4.5
= 63m^2

So the length of square plywood is 156.25 and rectangular plywood is 63 both in meter squares.

So this says that>>>

Square plywood > Rectangular Plywood

So now to see how much big is the Square plywood then >>>

Subtract the area of rectangular plywood from the area of square plywood

= 156.25-63
= 93.25 meter square

So the square plywood is 93.25 meter squares than the rectangular plywood.

Hope this helps!
