GIVEN
We are given the two sides of a triangle along with its perimeter
Let AB = 10cm
AC = 12cm
Perimeter Of Triangle ABC = 38cm
TO FIND
We need to find the length of the third side i.e BC
PROCEDURE
To find the length of the third side , we just need to subtract the sum of the two sides from the perimeter of the triangle
Perimeter of triangle = AB + BC + AC
SOLUTION
Perimeter = AB + BC + AC
==> 10 + 12 + BC = 38 cm
==> BC = 38 - 22 cm
==> BC = 16cm
Therefore the length of the third side is 16cm.
