☆VALID ANSWER☆

Given two sides of the triangle are 12cm and 14cm

 the perimeter of triangle =36cm

Let the length of the third side =acm

the perimeter of triangle = sum of the length of sides of the triangle.

Accoreding to problem,

12+14+a=36

 ⇒26+a=36

 ⇒a=36−26

 ⇒a=10

∴ length of the third side of triangle =10cm

Answer:

Question:-

Two sides of a triangle are 12 cm and 14 cm. The perimeter of the triangle is 36 cm. What is its third side?

Solution:-

Given:

▪︎1st side of triangle = 12cm

▪︎2nd side of triangle = 14 cm

To Find:

▪︎Length of 3rd side of a triangle.

Answer:

According to given conditions;

Perimeter of triangle = 36cm

= Sum of all sides = 36cm

= 12 + 14 + 3rd side = 36cm

= 26 + 3rd side = 36cm

= 3rd side = (36-26)cm

Hence, length of 3rd side is 10 cm.

Important points:

▪︎Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides

▪︎Area of triangle = ½ × base × height
