Given that : two straight infinitely long and thin parallel wires are spaced 0.1 M apart and carry a current of 10 ampere each find the magnetic field at a point distance 0.1 m from both wires when the current are in same direction is 23–√×10−5T. hence student can simply understand the concepts in a fine manner.

Explanation: We have,

D=0.1m apart

I=10A

Since the point P is at the equal distance for both wires A and B the distance between the wire is equal to

the point P,

B a	 =B b	 =B

B= 4πdμ 0	 2I	 =10 −7 × 0.12×10

10−5

AS the magnetic lines of force of current curriying wire conccentric.So Ba will be perpendicular to AP

and Bb  is perpendicular to AP.

a)If current are in same direction,

Then Ba  and Bb  make an angle 3 π

Therefore, B=2Bcos60  =2\sqrt3 ×10  −5  T Along negative axis.

b) If current are in the oposite direction,

Then Ba  and Bb  will make an angle 2π/3

B= 2Bcos 2π /3 =2×10-5T
