Concept :  

Linear pair of angles:

If Non common arms of two adjacent angles form a line, then these angles are called linear pair of angles.

 

 

Given : Two straight lines AB and CD cut each other at O. ∠BOD = 63°.

To find : ∠BOC  

Proof:  

∠BOD + ∠BOC = 180° (Linear pair)

63° + ∠BOC = 180°

[∠BOD = 63°]

∠BOC = 180° - 63°  

∠BOC = 117°

Hence ∠BOC  is  117°.

 Among the given options option (B) 117° is correct.
