I think both straight lines are perpendicular to each other

Given
Two straight lines intersect each other one angpe is 90degree
Then its vertical angle is also 90 degree (vertically opposite angle)
Now let x be the remaining one angle
90+x=180
X=180-90
X=90 degreee
Now let remaining angle be y
Y+90=180
Y=180-90
Y=90degree
Hence proved
