*Two students A and B perform an experiment to study the dependence of potential difference (V) on

the current (I) passing through a resistor of resistance R. The following observations were recorded by

each of the student;

Student A:

I (A) 0.1 0.2 0.4 0.6 1

V(V) 2.5 5 10 15 25

Student B:

I (A) 0.5 1 2 2.5 4

V (V) 2 4 8 10 12

Plot the graph of V-I for both the observations separately and infer which student has recorded the

correct readings while verifying the Ohm’s law experimentally, justify your answer. Also, determine the

value of resistance R from the graph having correct observation.​
