let the angle be x and another one is x-23 now x+x-23=180 by solving we get the value of x and substitute the value in two angled

Supplementary angles are two angles that equal 180 degrees. To solve above problem let a = the smaller angle and let [a+23]= the larger angle. The algebraic equation to arrive at the size of the two angles becomes:

⇒a + [a+23]=180 degrees.    [Supplementary angles]

⇒2a+23=180degrees.

⇒2a=157

⇒a=78.5  degrees.

⇒[a+23]=78.5+23  =101.5  degrees.

The two angles are 78.5 degrees and 101.5 degrees. ans

check

⇒78.5 +101.5 = 180 degree  Supplementary angles

⇒101.5 -78.5 =23 difference
