(x+2) + (4x+3) = 180° [ supplementary angles = 180°]

=> 5x + 5 = 180°

=> 5x = 180 - 5 = 175°

=> 5x = 175°

=> x = 175/5 = 35°

=> x = 35°

putting the values:

...angle 1 = (x + 2 ) = 35 + 2 = 37°

...angle 2 = (4x + 3 ) = 4 (35) + 3 = 140 +3 = 143 °

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

supplementary angles means whose sum is 180.

(x+2) + (4x+3) = 180

x + 2 + 4x + 3 = 180

5x + 5 = 180

5x = 180-5

5x = 175

x = 175/5 => 35

x = 35

1st angle is (x+2) = 35 + 2 = 37°

2nd angle is (4x+3) = (4 x 35 + 3) = (140+3) => 143°

hope it helps!
