Supplementary angles means the sum of two angles is 180.

Therefore, let one angle be x

And other angle be y

A. T. Q

X + Y = 180 - - - 1

X - Y = 18 - - - - - - 2

Adding equation 1 and 2

===>2x = 198

X = 99

Put x = 99 in eq 1

99 + Y = 180

Y = 180 - 99

Y= 81

Hope it helps you ☺️

Answer:

As we know that the supplementary angle means 180.

provided the angle differs by 18

so, let one angle be x

and the another be x+18

hence, x+x+18=180

2x=180 -18

2x=162

x=162/2

x= 81

and x+18 = 81+18=99

hence the two angles are 81and 99
