Sum of 2 supplementary angles=180 degree
Let the smaller angle be x.
The other angle would be x+48 degree
The equation is like:
x+x+48=180
2x+48=180
2x=180-48
2x=132
x=132/2
x=66
First angle=x=66 degree
Second angle=x+48=66+48=114 degree

Supplementary angle are two angles with a sum of 180 degree
1. Let the smaller angle =x
2. If the two angles differ by 48 degree the bigger angle is 48 degree more and equal x+48
3.x+x+48=180
4. Add the variableterm
5. Subtract 48 from both sides
6. X=66 this is the measure of the smaller angle
7. The bigger agle x+48=114
