↦ x - y = 18° ... eq(1).

Also by using concept we get,

↦ x + y = 180° ...eq(2).

By adding eq(1) and eq(2) we get:-

↦ (x - y) + (x + y) = 18° + 180°.

↦ x - y + x + y = 198°.

↦ 2x = 198°.

↦ x = 198°/2.

↦ x = 99°

By putting the value of x in eq(1)

we get:-

↦ x - y = 18°.

↦ 99° - y = 18°.

↦ y = 99° - 18°.

↦ y = 81°.  

Therefore the angles are 99° and 81°.
