The angle APB =120° (where AP and BP are tangents)
On join the centre of circle to point P it divided as angle bisector and Thus angle OPA =60°
Now in Δ OPA
angle P=60° and OA =6cm
Using tan ratio
TanΦ=P/B
Tan60°=OA/AP
√3=6/AP
√3×AP=6
(when √3 comes in R.H.S in divide the 6)
AP=6/√3
on rationalising
AP=6×√3/3
AP=2√3cm
