Two third of the area of a square is equal to 48 centimeters square. Another square is 1/8 the area of original square. Find the area of the second square and the length of its side.

The area of first square is 3 × 48cm^2 = 144cm^2.

So, the area of the second square is (144cm^2)/8 = 18cm^2.

Hence, the length of the side of the second square is (Root over 18) cm.
