two traingles ABC and DEF are similar .if AB =3 cm and DE =4 and area of triangle DEF is 48cm ^2 then find area of triangle ABC

the answer is 36cm^2
because ratios of similar triangles are equal
so 3/4=x/48
x=36 
here x is area of triangle ABC

A(tri.Abc)/A(tri.Def)=(Ab/De)^2
A(abc)/48=(3/4)^2
A(abc)/48=9/16
A(abc)=9*48/16
A(abc)=27cm^2
