Two trains are 120 meters long and 180 meters long, coming from two parallel rail tracks face-to-face. Their speed is 40 kilometers and 35 kilometers per hour. How long will they take to cross each other?

Total distance = 120 + 180 = 300 m

Total speed = 40+35 = 75 kmph = 75 * 5/18 = 25*5 / 6 = 125/6 m/s

Time taken = distance / speed = 300 / (125/6) = 300*6 / 125 = 18 * 100/125 = 72/5

= 72/5 seconds = 14.4 seconds

aditye62: 5/18=25*/6=125/6 m/s,,,,, (125/6)=300*6/125=18*100/125=72/5 how you answer
