Two trains are moving in opposite directions. The speed of the fast train is 10 km/h greater than that of slow train .If they start from station after 2 and a half hour they are found 275 km away from each other. Find there speeds​

Speed of fast train = x + 10 km/hr

Distance= 275 km

They move in opposite directions,i.e,

Total speed = (x+x+10)km/hr

Time = 2 and half hour or 5/2 hrs.

Distance = Time*Speed

5/2(x+x+10) = 275

(2x + 10) = 275*2/5

2x+10= 110

2x= 100

x= 50 km/hr

So,Slower train speed = 50km/hr

Faster train speed = 60km/hr
