opposite direction with velocity of 36 km/h.

Actually each train has length of 800m meter which means total distance cover by the trains together while crossing each other is 800+800=1600m.

Now,

Speed of each train = 36km/h =10m/s

Since both the trains are traveling in oppoeite directions hence their relative velocity, V= 10+10 = 20m/s

Now, the total time taken to cross each other is T= S/V = 1600/20 = 80 s.
