Given the length of the trains are equal which is 150 m and their speed is 90 km/hr = 25 m/s.

To develop some understanding assume one of the train is at rest. So to cross the other moving train has to travel its length plus the length of the rest train. In this case the moving train has to travel 300 Km to cross the train at rest.

Now  according to question

150+150-25t=25t

This gives t=300/50 = 6 sec
