let after time 't' they will pass each other.So, distance covered by both the trains =140×t +90×t
now, sum of distance covered by both trains will be equal to total distance i.e 920 km. thus, 140t+ 90t = 920
or, 230t = 920
or, t = 4 hrs
hence at the time of (4+4) a.m = 8 a.m they will pass each other.
