Let the trains meet after x km from Delhi
Time taken by first train to travel x km = x25x25 hr
Time taken by second train to travel x km = x35x35 hr
The second train starts only after 5 hours when compared to the first train.
i.e, time taken by the first train to travel x km - 5 = time taken by the second train to travel x km
x25−5=x35x25−5=x35
14x - 1750 = 10x
4x = 1750
x = 437.5
Required Distance from Delhi = 437.5 km
Time taken by first train to travel x km = x25x25 hr
Time taken by second train to travel x km = x35x35 hr
