Answer:

Solution

Let the length of the train, which is traveling at 60 kmph or `(50)/(3) " m/s, is " l_(1)` m and the length of the train travellin at 50 kmph or `(125)/(9) "m/s is "l_(2)` m.

`"Given," (l_(1))/(50/3) = 6`

`rArr l_(1) = (50)/(3) xx 6 = 100m`

It is also given that, `(l_(1) + l_(2))/(50/(3) + (125)/(9)) = 9`

`rArr l_(1) + l_(2) = 9((150 + 125)/(9))`

`rArr 100 + l_(2) = 275`

`rArr l_(2) = 175m`
