Two tungsten bulbs of wattage 50 W and 60 W power work
on 220 V potential difference. If they are connected in parallel,
how much current will flow in the main conductor?​

We know P = VI ,

P = power,

V = potential difference,

I = current

Given : V = 220 V ,

P = 50 W + 60 W = 110 W

[ Since bulbs are connected in parallel ]

I = P/V

I = 110W/220V

I = 0.5 A
