F=[F1^2+F2^2+2F1F2cos60]^(1/2)

=[9+25+2×15(1/2)]^(1/2)

=[49]^(1/2)=7 N

direction of force can be calculated by

tan(a)=Bsinx/A+Bcosx

=5sin60/3+5cos60

= 0.79

a=tan^-1(0.79)=38.2°

so resultant force will be in a direction of 38.2°from 3 N force

khanumarald: and what is the direction
Yazlin: wait i will edit the answer
khanumarald: okks
Yazlin: pls check it
khanumarald: thanks it is correct
Yazlin: welcome
