Answer: Let initial phase angle be ¢. Now , the angle made by resultant wave with the first wave is
tan¢ = [E Sin60°]/[E + E Cos60°]
=> tan¢ = [(√3)*2]/[2*3]
=> tan ¢ = 1/√3
=> ¢ = 30°.
