ANSWER:-

The exploitation of India was commenced originally in the form of trade, later on, other forms of exploitation were made through investment income in the outline of incomes and earnings and expenditure of costs of British administration in the aspect of home charges. These included incomes of the British army and civil officers, compensation of pensions, discharges and other benefits and also the expense of interest on Sterling debt.

The Two Ways In Which Common People Suffered:-

  • Colonial Exploitation of artisans through the agencies of East India Company for providing cotton and silk textures at a price much below the market price. Under that circumstance, artisans had to work in a brutal situation like welded labour.

  • Colonial Exploitation through manipulation of import and export obligations by the British rulers to demolish the superiority of the Indian goods, particularly cotton and silk fabrics over the British goods and then to achieve ultimately in infiltrating the Indian market through its automobile-made goods.
