1) Government makes laws to protect its citizens and there are specific laws and policies for the socially marginal groups. Thus, the government has taken steps to promote policies in order to give more opportunities to specific groups.

2) Government implements specific schemes for the uplift of tribal people and Dalit population in tribal and rural areas. For example, government provides for free or subsidized hostels for Dalit and Adivasi communities so that they can avail education facilities

3) The government has framed laws to end social inequalities of these groups in the society. It had reserved seats in education and government employment system in order to develop their skills etc.

4) Government has their own list of SC, (Dalits) ST, Backward and Most Backward castes and students applying to educational institutions and those applying for government jobs has to furnish proof of their caste, tribal status etc and if the particular Dalit caste or tribe is on the government list, then a candidate from that caste or tribe can avail the benefits of the government

5) Thus, Government of India has taken many efforts to ensure social equality to marginal groups of society

Government can implement equility by the betterment of their courts and justice providing institutions.so that whether one is poor or rich.,each of them should be provided with justice..and equlity..
Secondly, there should be proper job opportunities for everyone..it should be juat based on the qualification and intellectancy of a person
