Two wires are of same length and radius but one of them is of copper and other is of iron . whichwill have more resistance?

resistance = [ resistivity × length] ÷ area

resistivity of iron = 9.71 × 10^-8

resistivity of copper = 1.72 × 10^-8

Here we have given that length and area of both the wires are same.

So,

as resistance is directly proportional to the resistivity, {greater the resistivity greater the resistance}.

Hence IRON has more resistance.
