Two wires of same material and same length have radii 1mm and 2mm respectively.compare their resistance and specific resistance.

radius of 1st wire is 1mm

radius of 2nd wire is 2mm

r \alpha  \frac{1}{area}

then

r \alpha  \frac{1}{r}

hence Resistance of 2nd wire is lesser than 1st wire.
