Two wires of same material have their lengths in the ratio of 2 is to 3 and radius 8 is to 9 same potential difference is applied between their ends separately calculate the ratio of current through them.

Answer:
First wire has more current
Explanation:
Since, V=IR
So, I= V/R
R = rho ×l/A
So R1= rho × 2/ 8×8 = rho /32
R2= rho× 3/9×9 = rho/ 27
So current through the first wire will be more, i.e 32V/ rho and second wire has less current, i.e 27V/rho.
