two women are sitting on a bench are moving towards East with the speed of 15 metre per second and another is going toward the north with speed of 20 metre per second what will be the total distance between them after 100 seconds? ​

Given:-

For the First women

  • Initial Velocity = 15m/s

  • Time Taken = 100s.

For the Second Women:-

  • Initial Velocity = 20m/s

  • Time Taken = 100s

To Find:-

  • The Distance between them after 100 seconds.

Formulae used:-

  • Distance = Speed × Time

Now,

→ Distance travelled by 1st women = v × t

→ 15 × 100

→ 1500m

→ S¹ = 1500m

Again,

→ Distance Travelled by 2nd women = v × t

→ 20 × 100

→ 2000m.

→ s² = 2000m

So, Here we get the total distance travelled travelled by both the women respectively.

Now, we will subtract them and find out the distance between them

→ Distance between them = s² - s¹

→ 2000 - 1500

→ 500m.

Hence, Total Distance between them after 100 seconds is 500m.
