Let the present age of Bhargav is x.
Two years ago
Bhargav's age = x-2.
Anurag's age = 3(x-2).
So, Present age of Anurag = 3(x-2)+2 = 3x-6+2 = 3x-4......…...(eq. 1)
Two years hence,
Bhargav's age = x+2
Anurag's age = 2(x+2).
So, Anurag's present age = 2(x+2)-2 = 2x+4-2 = 2x+2......(eq 2)
Equating both equations,
3x-4 = 2x+2
x= 6.
So, Present age of Bhargav = 6 years
and, Present age of Anurag = 3*6-4 = 14 years.

Let the present age of Bhargav is x.

Bhargav's age = x-2.
Anurag's age = 3(x-2).
So, Present age of Anurag = 3(x-2)+2 = 3x-6+2 = 3x-4......…...( 1)
Two years after
Bhargav's age = x+2
As by given conditions
Anurag's age = 2(x+2).
Anurags present age will be 2 years less than what he is 2 years after so
Anurag's present age =
2(x+2)-2
= 2x+4-2
= 2x+2......(2)
In both equations the anurags age is present age so both ages are equal so equate them
3x-4 = 2x+2
We get x= 6.
So, Present age of Bhargav = 6 years
and, Present age of Anurag = 3×6-4 = 14 years.
