Step-by-step explanation:

Solution:

Suppose 2 years ago Motu's daughter age be x years and suppose Motu's age be 3 x years.

Present age of Motu's daughter=x+2 years

Present age of Motu=3x+2 years

After 2 years,

Motu's daughter age will be x+2+2=x+4 years

Motu's age will be 3x+2+2=3x+4 years

Now given that -Two years later, Motu will be twice her age, five times her daughter's age,so if we multiply 2 from the age of Motu's daughter after 2 years, it will be equal to the age of Motu after 2 years.

ACQ,

3x+4=2(x+4)

3x+4=2x+8

x=4

Present age of Motu =3×4+2=14 years

Present age of Motu's daughter=6 years
