hey mate here is your answer..
there are generally four kind of sentence....
assertive sentence example
interrogative sentence
imperative sentence
exclamatory sentence.
1.assertive -I like to play chess..
the athlete is very strong .
2.interrogative -what is your name?
can you jump ?
may I help you ?
3.imperative-please help me.
never tease animals .
4.exclamatory-well done!
may you live long!
what a lovely sight !

imperative sentence

these type of sentence are used to give order or request.

they don't contain subject but the subject is understood.  for example,open the window(the subject is not there but subject can be understood 'you')

imperative sentence example

please turn off the lights


interrogative sentence

these are used to ask question. they have question marks   (?)

for example

are you doing well in exams?


assertive

the are the simple sentences or we can say they are simple statement.

for example

i love ice-cream

negative sentence they are part of assertive

they contain negative words like not,neither,nor,etc.

for example

i don't like stuff toy.

exclamatory sentence

these sentence give us the thought of  emotion,feeling,etc.they usually contain exclamation mark.

for example

wow! what a beautiful scenery!
