 active voice:- describes a sentence where the subject performs the action stated by the verb.

passive voice:- the subject is acted upon by the verb. It makes for a murky, roundabout sentence.

Active voice

In the active voice, the subject of the verb is the one who does the action which the verb describes,and the object is the one subject acts on.

Examples :

1. The students seized the bus.
2. John killed the stubborn goat.
3. The postmaster brought Mary's letter.

Passive voice

The passive voice is to do with a verbal group that contains forms of the be-verbs plus the past participle form of the verb in passive in voice.In other word,we mark verbal group for the passive words.

Examples :

1. The bus was seized by the students.
2. The stubborn goat killed by John.
3. Mary's letter was brought by the postmaster.
