The correct answer of this question is option D.

• The total distance of AB = 8 cm.

• The division ratio is = 3 : 2.

Let, variable = x

So,

3x+2x = 8

5x = 8

x = 8/5

Now,A is the first point of the AB line,so we will take the first component of the ratio to measure the length of AP.

The length of AP = 3x = 3× (8/5) = 4.8 cm (answer).
