u can prove T=VM/F
T is time,V is change in velocity,M is mass and F is force

from Newton's laws .
we have F=m.a
a= acceleration. also we know, a = change in velocity / time ..
therefore, F=m. V/T.
re arranging the equation we get T= VM/F.

we can use the netwon 1st equation.

v = u+at

u = 0

t = v/a

(we know that f = ma )

t = VM/F
