No, it is not the converse of BPT theorem.
It is the converse of theorem I have stated below this and proved in the attached picture✔✔
Converse of BPT theorem is :
✒if a line divides any two sides of a triangle in the same ratio, then the line is parallel to the third side.(in that answer not in this)
I hope it is clear to you , I suggest you to once read it out from your ncert book!!
