The war was between France and Vietnam. As, Vietnamese fought against French and established Vietnamese communist party.

But the Vietnam was divided into north and south Vietnam. The north was led by Ho chi Minh where he his rule was good but the south was under the dictator. Ho chi Minh United the south and North Vietnam.


Seeing this unity US enter the war with Vietnam as US felt the communism would spread to US also. These Americans used dangerous weapons like Napalm, Hydrogen bomb and damaged forest area of Vietnam. Though Vietnamese never stepped back but they fought against Americans and killed many soldiers of US.
