The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, in short, RTE Act, is the most significant advancement in the Universalisation of Elementary Education in India. The role of Universal Elementary Education (UEE) for reinforcing the social fabric of freedom through the prerequisite of equitable opportunities to all has been admitted since the conception of our Democracy.
