\huge{\tt{\underline{Given:}}}

=> Sum of a two digit number is 9.

=> 9 times that number is twice the number obtained by reversing the digits.

\huge{\tt{\underline{Assuming:}}}

=> Let the ones digit of that number be x and ones digit be y.

\huge{\tt{\underline{Solution:}}}

So, the number obtained will be -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

10x  + y

Here, we were given that :-

x + y = 9...............eq(1)

We were also given that :-

9(10x + y) = 2(10y + x) \\ 90x + 9y = 20y + 2x \\ 90x - 2x = 20y - 9y \\ 88x = 11y \\ 88x - 11y =0 \\ 11(8x  -  y) = 0 \\ 8x - y = 0.......eq(2)

On adding equations (1) and (2) :-

(x + y) + (8x - y) = 9 + 0 \\ x + 8x - y + y = 9 \\ 9x = 9 \\ x = 1

By putting x value in either of the equations :-

x + y = 9 \\ 1 + y = 9 \\ y = 9 - 1 \\ y = 8

So, x = 1 and y = 8.

Thus, putting both values in (10x + y) :-

(10(1) + (8)) \\ 10 + 8 \\ 18.

Hence, the number is \huge{\boxed{18}}.
