Answer:

Hope it will help you

Step-by-step explanation:

profit = 15%

cp = 120kg of rs 24

120×24 = 2880

cp = 180 kg of sugar rs 28

180×28 = 5040

Total cp of sugar = 2880+5040 = 7920

Sp = (100+ gain%)/100 × cp

100+15/100×7920

115/100×7920

sp = 8808

Given,

120 kg of sugar of Rs.24 per KG and 180 kg of sugar of Rs.28 per KG is mixed.

To Find,

The selling price of the mixed sugar, such that a gain of 15% is received.

Solution,

The total Sugar to be sold = 120 + 180 = 300 kg

The actual cost of the sugar = (120×24)+(180×28) = 2880+5040 =  7920

Now since a gain of 15%

⇒ the total selling price of the sugar = 7920 (1 + \frac{15}{100}) = 9108

Thus the selling price per kg sugar = 9108/300 = 30.36

Henceforth the selling price of sugar per kg = Rs.30.36
